What's a SEER rating?

SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) measures how efficiently a system cools across a whole season — total cooling output divided by electricity used. Higher SEER = lower running costs. Modern minimums are set by SEER2 testing; we'll match efficiency to your budget.

What is tonnage?

Tonnage is capacity, not weight — one ton equals 12,000 BTU/hr of cooling. It tells us how much cooling your home needs. Too big short-cycles and leaves humidity; too small runs forever. Right-sizing is everything, which is why we calculate your full heat load.

What's the going rate for a new A/C in Calgary?

It depends on your home's size, the unit, and install complexity — most homeowners land between $3,500 and $7,500. Our in-home assessment is free and gives you an exact, no-obligation price for your home.

Should I fix my existing A/C or replace it?
